Project Have Hope

Project Have Hope works with a group of 100 women in the Acholi Quarter of Uganda and helps them transform their lives and the lives of their families. Through the sale of their beautiful, handmade paper bead jewelry, the women can feed their families, send their children to school, and look forward to a richer future.

Visit Uganda with us in 2010

Live an experience of a lifetime as you work side-by-side with the women of the Acholi Quarter and other PHH volunteers. The trip will run from January 4th to 14th, 2010, and will include time for safari, as well as 7-days of volunteering. Space is limited. If you are interested in joining the upcoming trip, please express your interest as soon as possible. Details of the trip are available on our News page. • Initiated agricultural programs, balcony gardens, and mushroom cultivation
• Project Have Hope sponsoring 92 children in school
• PHH Adult Literacy Program established; 32 students enrolled
• Micro-loans enable 37 women to expand or start new businesses
• Eighteen women graduated from vocational training programs
• Seven women currently enrolled in vocational training programs
