Purchase Acholi musician Fabbian's his CD, Songs of Hope, and support the programs of Project Have Hope

Patrick Nyero, known as Fabbian, was born in the war-torn area of Gulu in Northern Uganda, in a small village called Cet-Kana. Fabbian hails from the Patiko clan of the Acholi people.

In 1997, when Fabbian was 13, his father was killed at the hands of rebels in Gulu. Fabbian turned to music to help cope with this loss. His early release, Bedo Kic Lit, focused on the pain of being an orphan.

Later, his music became songs of hope and encouragement to his fellow orphans. Through his music, Fabbian brings social problems to the forefront. His song Unite Up! implores political leaders to bring an end to the violence that continues in Uganda.

Fabbian lives with his mother in the Acholi Quarter.

Purchase Fabbian's CD ($10) and help support the work of Project Have Hope in Uganda.
