Calling All Artists!



Project Have Hope invites any and all artists to design an original work of art using the recycled paper beads handmade by the women of the Acholi Quarter. The winner will receive a $200 credit to the Project Have Hope website. All entries will be featured on the website.

CONTEST GUIDELINES

PRIZE

The winning artist will receive a $200 credit to the Project Have Hope website. The credit may be used at Project Have Hope's online store, or may be used toward child sponsorship, or a volunteer trip to Uganda with Project Have Hope. All contest entries will be featured on the Project Have Hope website to be sold as limited edition, one-of-a-kind pieces with all proceeds benefiting Project Have Hope's current projects in the Acholi Quarter of Uganda.



GUIDELINES

• To enter the contest, submit an application to Project Have Hope. You will be provided with one 3 x 3 inch bag of Project Have Hope recycled paper beads to use, however you may choose to incorporate other materials to complement the beads in your design or purchase additional Project Have Hope beads at your own expense.

• The Project Have Hope beads should be the focal point of your design and should highlight the unique quality of the beads.

• You must be 18 years or older or have parental permission to enter.

• You may submit up to 5 designs.

• Designs must be 100% original work.

• A permission form, granting Project Have Hope the exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, distribute, and prepare derivative works of your design must be signed before the prize is awarded.



HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR DESIGN

To enter the contest, submit a short application form to Project Have Hope. Project Have Hope will send you one 3 x 3 inch bag of Project Have Hope recycled paper beads upon receipt of your application. You must submit a hard copy of your design to Project Have Hope, which must be received by 5:00 PM EST on August 30th, 2010. The winning artist will be personally notified and announced on the Project Have Hope website on September 3rd, 2010. At the end of the contest, all artists and designs will be featured on the Project Have Hope website. Contest entries will be sold as one-of-a-kind pieces on the Project Have Hope website. All proceeds from contest jewelry sales will benefit Project Have Hope's current projects.
