I will never forget the friendships I developed or the experience I had on the trip.

PHH volunteers work side by side with PHH members. Volunteer trip include time for cultural activities, too.

My experience was filled with memories that will last a life time. I was very nervous about what I could offer to the women and whether we'd be able to relate. However both worries were dispelled hours into the first day.

After spending time in the Acholi Quarter I came home with an appreciation of my family, health and the fact that I have the ability to help others simply using my voice. I continue to share my experience with others and tell the stories that I was told.

Volunteers work with the beads that are a mainstay of the PHH programs. Dozens of deserving children are being educated through Project Have Hope's programs.

The women of PHH took me into their homes, shared their experiences with me, laughed with me, danced with me, even played double-dutch with me. I was touched by the spirit and hope these amazing women and children carried.
