Songs of Hope, composed and performed by Acholi musician Fabbian, features the sounds of contemporary Uganda. This CD is the perfect gift for any World Music lover. Fabbian, was born in Northern Uganda. In 1997, when Fabbian was 13, his father was killed at the hands of rebels. Fabbian turned to music to help cope with this loss. Through his music, Fabbian brings social problems to the forefront, and implores political leaders to bring an end to the violence that continues in Uganda. |
